Spinstructors guide the group from the first beat to the final dance. The experience is designed around two hours of guest-facing activity, with the birthday child supported—not pressured—through a genuine DJ moment.

Choose DJ names, meet the equipment, and learn a few simple controls. We demonstrate each step and help the group find the beat.
Try a first mix.
Kids rotate through guided practice, choose from family-approved music, and try bringing two songs together. Everyone gets a turn.

The birthday child plays a short set with a Spinstructor beside them. Friends hit the dance floor, and our team keeps the party moving.

A two-hour celebration can move from introductions and guided practice to the birthday set, dancing, cake, and a final song. We adjust the pacing to the group and coordinate the birthday moment with you.

For parents and organizers
A few things you might be wondering.
Does my child need DJ experience?
No. We start with accessible controls and guide the group through practice. The goal is a fun first experience with music and a birthday moment they can enjoy.
What if my child is shy or needs a different pace?
The birthday child can share the decks with a friend or a Spinstructor. Taking the microphone is optional. Tell us practical participation preferences that would help us plan a comfortable experience.
How many children can take part?
Our recommended starting format is 8–10 participating children, including the birthday child. Larger groups need a tailored equipment and staffing plan.
Can our family choose the music?
Yes. Share favorite songs, artists, must-plays, and anything you do not want played. We prepare age-appropriate music with your input before the celebration.
Do you bring everything?
We bring the agreed DJ teaching equipment and party sound. You provide the venue, suitable space and power, food, cake, decorations, and responsible adult supervision unless your quote says otherwise.
Is this a drop-off party?
No. A responsible adult host must remain at the party. Spinstructors lead the activity; parents and the host remain responsible for supervising the children attending.
What happens after I send an inquiry?
SpinLab reviews your plans, checks availability, and follows up with a recommended experience and personal quote. Your date is not reserved until the booking steps are completed.
