Why SpinLab started
It started in the classroom.
Founder Mackie Charles began using DJ equipment with students while working as a special education teacher. Students who were often quiet started asking questions, making choices and taking ownership of what they created.
That experience became SpinLab Studios. Every lesson combines clear instruction, hands on practice and space for each student to develop a sound of their own.
