Our Story
It started with one controller and one powerful moment.
SpinLab started in a special education classroom. What began as a simple DJ lesson quickly became something bigger. Music opened a door. Students who were quiet started speaking up. Students who were unsure began to take ownership. Confidence, focus, creativity, and pride started showing up in real time.
That moment became the foundation of SpinLab Studios: a place where DJing is used to teach skill, expression, discipline, communication, and confidence.

Meet the Founder
DJ Mackie
DJ Mackie is an educator, DJ, and creative mentor who brings together real DJ experience and years of work helping students grow. His teaching style is patient, structured, energetic, and rooted in one belief: students rise when the environment is built for them to succeed.
At SpinLab, students do more than learn music. They build confidence, focus, courage, creativity, and the ability to express who they are.
